We have been featuring a lot of street pole banners lately, in our weekly product spotlights. If you’ve been following along, or reading archived blogs of week’s past, you’ll notice this. If you’re one of our devoted readers thinking "What about the hardware? Show me the hardware!", this week’s spotlight is just for you! This week, Giantpole.us is featuring this full-color GiantPole flag. For these particular flags, we’ve partnered with one of the world's largest outdoor fabric banner and flag silkscreen printers. These flags undergo a specialized four-color silk screen process, allowing us to produce full color images. This rigorous process begins with the flags being printed using a large format, automated silk screen printing machine. These printing machines allow us to produce each flag accurately and quickly, resulting in a higher quality products for less money. Next, the flags are heat treated, causing the colors to brighten and the inks to become fixed, protecting them against harsh weather. Five successive washing cycles bring out the final brightness of the flags and soften the cloth. Oven drying guarantees size stability of the flags.
After the printing and drying processes are complete, the flags are trimmed and hemmed before a reinforcing strip is applied to the top and one side of the flags. GiantPole.us has recently added street pole banners to our product line! This particular street pole banner is made up of (2) 31" long banner rods for attaching a vertical banner to a street light pole. Light pole brackets are made from fiberglass to create a durable and wind-resistant presentation. The banner hardware brackets have even been tested to withstand winds up to 100mph! This banner hardware is typically found in downtown street areas or shopping centers to announce upcoming events. Banner brackets, with vertical banners, are also frequently used to display a town's pride, such as during an anniversary or seasonal affair!
The brackets are also sold without banners, so you can custom design a presentation! As a result you are able to custom design your own banners based on your individual needs, budget restrictions and spatial regulations. The banner rods set, banner hardware includes 31" long rods; however you can use these brackets to display a vertical banner up to 94" tall! GiantPole.us is proud to now offer streetpole banners! Street pole banners were designed for attaching vertical flags to a street pole or light post outdoors. These outdoor banner brackets, street pole banners include all of the necessary hardware to set up a presentation; your own custom printed flags are all you will need to provide. Street pole banners, also known as light pole banners, include (2) 67" long fiberglass rods for displaying (2) 30" wide flags, side-by-side. The rods easily attach to the front of a light pole using the provided banner brackets and zip ties. We even provide these street pole banners with stainless steel hose clamps for a secure and sturdy attachment to any shape street pole.
Street pole banners can be used to display vertical banners varying in length. As shown in our graphics, we used (2) 30" x 60" flags, however other standard lengths include 84" and 96". These light pole brackets, street pole banners are typically found in downtown areas or college campuses to display a town's pride or to communicate upcoming events. Banner flags can sometimes be extremely costly, but they don’t have to! Here at GiantPole.us, we search the world over for the most affordable yet high quality products to offer our customers. These particular silk-screened flags are no exception. We have partnered with one of the world's largest outdoor fabric banner and flag silkscreen printers based in Europe. The fade resistant inks used during the printing process are applied to the white knitted polyester flags, according to the two color design you provide. These two color silk screened flags allow for more elaborate designs and logos. With two spot colors and the white flag background there are a limitless number of designs and logos possibilities. Each of the flags is double sided to capture attention from multiple directions. These flags in particular are two flags sewn back to back so that text reads correctly on both sides.
Some of the key features of this silkscreened flag are hemmed edges that prevent fraying, an ideal feature for flags that will be used outdoors. When left outside during windy conditions and inclement weather, you want banner flags that will withstand this type of abuse. GiantPole.us is spotlighting this TriPole banner this week. This particular banner stand is designed for use during large, crowded events, both indoors and out. Standing over 13ft in height, this advertising flag display is sure to be noticed! This advertising flag display is comprised of lightweight and durable aluminum poles and a molded polymer base. The molded base holds eleven gallons of water or sand and is easily filled though the top hole. The three supporting legs distribute wind forces to the base and prevent toppling. Included with this display is the TriPole advertising flag pole and padded carrying bag. A removable zipper pouch attaches inside of the bag to hold all of the flag attachment hardware.
Though this display is sizeable, it is also portable. The three-piece telescopic flagpole collapses to just 59"long, and the lightweight base has a carrying handle molded into the underside. This week, GiantPole.us is promoting these double-sided flags for outdoor use. Unlike most other flags with dye sublimation printing, we are able to offer these flags with an 8 day lead time as they are printed here in North America! Dye sublimation is a form of printing where a digital print is applied to a transfer medium. Heat and pressure are then used to apply the image to the flag fabric. The flag material is knitted polyester like our silk screened flags and the edges are hemmed to prevent fraying. The higher cost of these flags is associated with the expedited lead time and higher cost of dye sublimation, though dye sublimation is one of the best forms of printing.
With flags featuring dye sublimation printing, there is no minimum quantity requirement when purchasing, which is unlike the flags with silk screen printing we offer. Dye sublimation also allows you to have a positive image on the back side, so that text reads correctly on both sides of the flag. This week, GiantPole.us is featuring these digitally printed flag. Designed for use with our Giant Pole banner stand, this particular flag is ideal for companies only needing a certain number of flags for their presentation purposes. Each flag is printed on a large format digital printer. The image is printed onto white knitted, polyester fabric, creating a flat that is just as durable and less expansive than screen printed flags. As a result, these flags can be purchased in any number you need, unlike the rest of our banner flags sold in a minimum of 10 units!
Besides the above mentioned benefits, digitally printed flags feature hemmed edges to prevent fraying. They also have a white reinforced edge applied to one side an the top to prevent the grommets from pulling out. Both sides of these flags have positive (right reading) images. This is achieved by printing two flags and sewing them together with an opaque layer in between. This produces a flag that is right reading and full brightness on both sides.

This week, Giantpole.us is featuring this full-color GiantPole flag. For these particular flags, we’ve partnered with one of the world's largest outdoor fabric banner and flag silkscreen printers. These flags undergo a specialized four-color silk screen process, allowing us to produce full color images. This rigorous process begins with the flags being printed using a large format, automated silk screen printing machine. These printing machines allow us to produce each flag accurately and quickly, resulting in a higher quality products for less money. Next, the flags are heat treated, causing the colors to brighten and the inks to become fixed, protecting them against harsh weather. Five successive washing cycles bring out the final brightness of the flags and soften the cloth. Oven drying guarantees size stability of the flags.
After the printing and drying processes are complete, the flags are trimmed and hemmed before a reinforcing strip is applied to the top and one side of the flags.
